How to add Diggit, Technorati, Del.icio.us, Stumbleupon, Reddit and pInterest buttons to your Blogger posts

Here's how you can add a row of social media sharing buttons all at one go :)

Step 1
Locate the <data:post.body/> code in the HTML template.

Step 2
Copy and paste the code below just after the  <data:post.body/> tag.

<!--Digg-->
<a expr:href='"http://digg.com/submit?phase=2&amp;url=" + data:post.url + "&amp;title=" + data:post.title' target='_blank'><img src="https://sites.google.com/site/mydesiowfamily/Home/diggit.png" border="0"/></a>
<!--Technorati-->
<a expr:href='"http://technorati.com/faves?add=" + data:post.url' target='_blank'><img src="https://sites.google.com/site/mydesiowfamily/Home/technorati.png" border="0"/></a>
<!--Del.icio.us-->
<a expr:href='"http://del.icio.us/post?url=" + data:post.url + "&amp;title=" + data:post.title' target='_blank'><img src="https://sites.google.com/site/mydesiowfamily/Home/delicious.png" border="0"/></a>
<!--StumbleUpon-->
<a expr:href='"http://www.stumbleupon.com/submit?url=" + data:post.url + "&amp;title=" + data:post.title' target='_blank'><img src="https://sites.google.com/site/mydesiowfamily/Home/stumbleupon.png" border="0"/></a>
<!--Reddit-->
<a expr:href='"http://reddit.com/submit?url=" + data:post.url + "&amp;title=" + data:post.title' target='_blank'><img src="https://sites.google.com/site/mydesiowfamily/Home/reddit.png" border="0"/></a>
<!-- pInterest-->
<a class='pin-it-button' count-layout='horizontal' expr:href='&quot;http://pinterest.com/pin/create/button/?url=&quot; + data:post.url'><img src="https://sites.google.com/site/mydesiowfamily/Home/pinterest.png" border="0"/></a>

Step 3
You should see a row of social media sharing icons like this :)

  4. Thanks, great help! But was disturbed to notice that the images are taken from a personal website e.g. https://sites.google.com/site/mydesiowfamily/Home/diggit.png If that website is closed tomorrow, all the buttons will go blank. It would be great if you could modify it to point to the original source.
